The Queen City a.k.a. Porkopolis a.k.a. Cincinnasty a.k.a. The Nasty Natti is known for being a good time. Sure, under gentrified areas, high crime, and urban decay have left many parts of the City by the River a little undesirable, but that's where it gets its charm. People who live there know it, those who visit enjoy brilliant flashes of it, and those yet to discover Cincinnati have only the time in wait until they do.

Celebrating all that is the City South on 71, entertainment baron CityBEAT, in conjunction with other areas businesses and some national groups, is set to throw an all-out extravaganza March 26. The gig kicks off at the Bertke Electric Warehouse on Bluerock St. in Northside at 5:30pm. Partiers can grab their tickets to the Best of Cincinnati Party 2014 online presale.

DJ Mowgli headlines the event, with other area acts Archer's Paradox, The Amazing Giants, and Pones Inc. rounding out the affair for good measure. The 18th annual Best of Cincinnati Party 2014 hosts several special events, including DJ battles and the Best of Cincinnati Bowtie design competition, with proceeds going to charity.

The first 800 people to buy tickets receive swag bags for the event. Stuff-We-All-Get includes special Golden Ticket giveaways like theatre tickets and passes to local music festivals. And if you need any more incentive to save the date, Eli's BBQ, in all its mouth-watering glory, will be on-hand serving up some of the best flame-fired meats you can put in your mouth. And you will, trust us.
