Great Strides Events

Chad W. Lutz
Cystic Fibrosis: a word. To some, it means nothing. To more than 30,000 Americans, it means everything. Every year, thousands of infants, children, and young adults are diagnosed with the disease. With the power to make substantial headway in finding a cure, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation holds annual benefit walks in support of funding for research through the Great Strides program. Ohio calls home to several Great Strides events. Walks begin in late spring and run through the summer and into the fall. If you, or someone you know, has been afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis, or you just feel like lending a helping hand, refer to the list below to find a Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides walk in your area and help add more tomorrows today for thousands of people in need throughout the Buckeye State and across the nation.
