Tool Rumored to Release New Album in 2014

Chad W. Lutz
It's been eight years since Tool released their last LP, 10,000 Days. Fans of the band have been anxiously awaiting any kind of news as to a new release in the years following, but the psychedelic-metal outfit has been mostly hush-hush until recently. On March 6, after a show in Portland, OR, lead guitarist Adam Jones revealed to sources that Tool looks to release a full-length album later in the year. According to Spin Magazine Online, Jones is quoted as saying the album should be set for release in "early 2014". The new project would be the band's fifth full-length studio album since the bands formation in 1990. No hints as to a name or overarching theme have been leaked.
