Pink Floyd Announces New Album

Chad W. Lutz
The last time Pink Floyd released an album, Bill Clinton was beginning his second year in office, the price of gas hovered around $1.10/gallon, the average annual income sat around $18,000, and the Buffalo Bills lost the Superbowl…again. But rock n' roll doesn't have an age cap :coughs:The Rolling Stones:cough, cough: If anything, bands become more popular the longer they stick around. With the release of The Endless River, Pink Floyd's discography will span five decades and cement the act as one of the longest-tenured and most prolific in history.

Set for release on November 10, 2014, The Endless River will contain brand new material from the band, including songs featuring deceased original Pink Floyd member Richard Wright. Drummer Nick Mason and guitarist David Gilmour feature prominently on the new album, which serves as a tribute to their late cohort. Most of the tracks include instrumental arrangements, according to the LP's official website.
