The Hamilton County Prosecution's Office recently released a video depicting an altercation between a University of Cincinnati Police Officer and a suspect taking place July 19 just off campus. The video was captured via uniform cam worn by Officer Ray Tensing, 25. County Prosecutor, Joe Deters, has already publicly stated the officer, "purposefully killed" 43-year old Samuel DuBose, who was shot in the head during a routine traffic stop for failing to display a front license plate.

Similar to other cases involving police brutality over the last year, the DuBose case includes a graphic video of the mid-July shooting, showing DuBose complying with the officer before being fatally shot by Officer Tensing. A grand jury indicted the officer on Wednesday, July 29, under charges of murder and voluntary manslaughter. Officer Tensing could face life in prison if convicted.
